About Depot 19

Depot 19 is a vintage shop founded by design and art lovers based in Olst (NL). We offer among other things vintage chairs, tables, cabinets, home accessories and paintings. As lovers of design, we started in the 90s by collecting a design collection. As collectors, we are always looking for unique and beautiful objects that can give more meaning to our environment. Currently we have saved our objects in our depot, which is accessible by appointment.

Depot 19 and the MCM-period.
Many beautiful items turned out to be coming from the MCM-period, the mid-century modern period. (the fifties, sixties and seventies).
In this period, the designs are very creative, timeless and durable.
Craft and industrial manufacture were also combined in a special way.

We want to surprise you.
At first, we mainly collected works from Verner Panton and Charles and Ray Eames, Gispen, De Wit Brothers Schiedam, Hans Wegner and Pastoe.
On our hunt for beautiful items we met so many lovely items and stories, we decided to collect them too.

A shop with design classics.
With succes, we started a webshop with design classics.
The original items we sell are distinctive and often very rare. With our products you can design your living space in a distinctive and personal way.

We offer Dutch design, Scandinavian and Danish design.
Our often very rare design items and art objects are checked by us, cleaned and sometimes restored. We try to keep our items as much as possible in its original state.

Depot 19 and the environment.
We want this shop to make a lasting contribution to a cleaner environment and the preservation of the world and its resources, by a (re) appreciation for the products of the past.
